Two Fish Upon a Star

A wizened one perches comfortably on the cosmic stream,
angling his star-studded line into a celestial pool that is strewn with time worn tales of
all shapes and sizes.
Two fish swim eternally through the heavens, bound together by stories of these stars told
a million times and many ways. The ancient Greeks saw them as Aphrodite and her son Eros
who were bathing by a river when a frightening monster, Typhon, approached. To escape, and
remain unseparated, they transformed themselves into a pair of fish bound together by a
stream of stars.
The moon pulls on the tether playfully on the tether of the two fish. The sigil of Pisces
serves as the perfect bait.

Why Giclee Editions are Special: Giclee (pronounced gee-CLAY) prints are a blending of art
and science using new technology that sprays microscopic droplets of ink directly on the
paper. The result is a highly saturated and dynamic color range that makes possible a
reproduction equal to the original piece. |
