B & R Art Gallery proudly presents the art of Ron
Lesser. Ron was Inspired by the art of Norman Rockwell, N. C. Wyeth, and Harold Von
Schmidt. Ron pursued his career in art at the High School of Music & Art and also at
Pratt Institute, all the while deriving additional momentum from books by Will James . It
was at the Art Students League that Lesser received his strong background in the
fundamentals of painting and drawing. Ron’s creative vision coupled with a keen eye
for detail, have garnered him membership in the Society of Illustrators as well as earned
him numerous Gold Medals for his achievements. Ron added his own perspective to this
popular genre. Ron now focuses on Western paintings of high visual impact and strong
characterizations. Ron’s attention to
detail, a devotion to strong and dramatic compositions coupled with a unique creative
vision sets a Ron Lesser painting apart. This overall impact transports the viewer to
another time and another place.
