This type of china is called ‘flow blue;’ it is one of the most widely recognized and collected of the fine chinas. Flow blue is painted with a type of watercolor and is then glazed with a method that produces a bleeding effect. The daisies in the watercolor - creamy white with yellow centers – complement the deep blue of the china. |
