Nov 1, 2008 — Robert Copple
Saturday, 12 P.M. to 5 P.M.
17720 Sierra Highway, Canyon Country CA. 91351
Robert Copple's work demonstrates a broad range of style and subject matter from his Romantic Moods and Dreamscapes series of fine art canvases to an art form he created himself, Illusionary Images, in which Copple blends award-winning wildlife painting and fine art landscape photography. The resulting single image transcends the boundaries of the separate disciplines: an image one step closer to reality than any artist could render, yet beyond the realistic capabilities of any photographer.

Any Copple canvas purchased between now and the show can be hand-enhanced by the artist at the show. You need not attend to have your piece enhanced.

November 16, 2008 — Judy Larson
Sunday, 1 P.M. to 4 P.M.
17720 Sierra Highway, Canyon Country CA. 91351
Judy Larson Judy Larson will demonstrate the rare and demanding scratchboard technique she uses to create her stunning images, answer questions about her work and offer tips to others interested in working with scratchboard.

Working on smooth Clayboard, a board with a white china clay surface, Judy paints her subject solidly with black India ink, then she scratches out magnificent detail. Two themes predominate, and often converge, in Judy's "art of concealed imagery": the precarious balance of wildlife in today's environment and the fate of Native Americans, whom Larson especially admires for their intuitive understanding of ecological balance.

You'll enjoy meeting with this extraordinary artist. Any recent Larson canvas purchased before the show can be hand-enhanced by the artist at the show. You need not attend the show for this service.

November 29, 2008 — Dan Mackin
Saturday, 12 P.M. to 5 P.M.
17720 Sierra Highway, Canyon Country CA. 91351
Dan Mackin  is a world renowned artist who has captured on canvas his memories of exotic sailing trips to the Caribbean, the Bahamas, the South Pacific, Asia, the rainforests of South America, and the beaches of where he surfed in Southern California. (Dan was elected to the Surfing Hall of Fame in 2001.) Dan's work is simple, he takes us on a journey to paradise, every time his brush touches a canvas.

Everyone, at some time in their life, yearns to find their own peaceful paradise and escape from the demands of today’s hectic world. In my work I try to offer the viewers a window to their own tropical paradise. My paintings embody my desire to preserve Earth’s fragile beauty and to encourage the harmony that should exist between people and nature.—Dan Mackin

Recently Dan Mackin collaborated with Brian Wilson* (of "The Beach Boys" fame) to produce, on canvas, visual interpretations of the songwriter's lyrics including "Surfing USA," "Surfer Girl," "In My Room," and "God Only Knows"—all big hits and synonymous with the beach lifestyle. These Giclées are hand signed by both Brian Wilson and Dan Mackin and are available in Signed and Numbered, Artist Proof, and Publisher Proof limited editions, in 4 different sizes.
Dan will hand-enhance any recent canvases purchased before or at the show. You need not attend the show for this service, but this offer is limited to the number the artist can do while he is here. Buy earlier to guarantee that he will enhance your canvas!

*Brian Wilson, legendary songwriter, singer, producer, arranger, concert performer and original member of "The Beach Boys", is one of rock and roll's most deeply revered figures. His music single handedly created the California lifestyle. He has been touring on his own since 1997 and is a member of both the "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame" and the "Songwriters Hall of Fame".

December 6, 2008 — June Carey
Saturday, 1 P.M. to 4 P.M.
17720 Sierra Highway, Canyon Country CA. 91351
June Carey June Carey  loves to paint wine country landscapes from California and Italy, and and historic mission scenes from the American Southwest. Using a unique style, incorporating both intense color and dramatic lighting effects, she captures the essence of her subjects like no other artist.

From early childhood I remember the intense experience of coming upon a scene where light and land come together in such a way as to overwhelm me with emotion. After years of struggling to express the beauty of the scenes I love, I am still occasionally overwhelmed when I come upon a perfect place, by the need to share that which is far too beautiful for me to ever completely capture.—June Carey

June will hand enhance the first twenty canvases purchased prior to the show! Your piece can be enhanced whether or not you can attend the show.

Prints and originals from these and other artists are available through B & R Art. Order your pieces as soon as possible to get them hand-enhanced by the artist at the show. If you have any questions call us at 1-661-298-2038 or toll free at 800-255-6498, or send e-mail to info@bnr-art.com
